In an interview with drag legend Miss Coco Peru, Hollywood icon Jane Fonda opened up about her friendship with the late activist Harvey Milk, according to the Huffington Post. "He was the most wonderful, lovable, huge, generous heart and spirit," Fonda, 75, recalled of her experience . "It was a huge loss." Peru also pointed out Fonda's role in campaigning alongside Milk, the first openly gay public official in the United States.

Twenty-five years after his untimely death, the legacy of out singer Sylvester, the so-called "Queen of Disco," will be resurrected with Mighty Real: Greatest Dance Hits, due out June 25 on Fantasy Records, according to a press release. This 11-track release will be available on CD and on double pink vinyl. A portion of the proceeds from sales of this compilation will go to the AIDS Emergency Fund and Project Open Hand.

Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas are reportedly staging a reunion of the group TLC, according to the Huffington Post. The two remaining members of the famed girl group are set to perform at Hershey, Penn.'s Mixtape Festival in July. Original TLC member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes died in a 2002 car crash at age 30. T-Boz downplayed rumors of a Left Eye hologram in a recent interview on HuffPost Live, though she said that it's still an option.

A feature film from the producers of The Twilight Saga about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's life looks set to come out just as the primaries begin heating up in the next election, according to Deadline.com . Rodham, from writer Young II Kim's 2012 award-winning script, is about the Clintons' early years. As Clinton prepares for a possible 2016 presidential run, big Democratic donors Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Katzenberg are reportedly getting ready to support her.

A new hall of fame—the first of its kind in the United States—has been established to honor individuals and organizations who have enhanced the fields of sports and athletics for the LGBT community, a press release stated. The National Gay & Lesbian Sports Hall of Fame, a 501(c)(3) organization based in Chicago, will recognize those who have stood up to stereotypes and worked to break down the walls of differences to bring people together for the good of the games, according to the group's executive director, Bill Gubrud. The organization expects to accept its first round of nominations this summer, and induct its first honorees at a ceremony Aug. 2.

The Daytime Emmy nominees have been announced, and CBS earned the most nods with 50, including 23 for the soap opera The Young and the Restless, according to OnTheRedCarpet.com . PBS received 44 nods, including 17 for Sesame Street. The talk show to earn the most Emmy nods is the Ellen DeGeneres Show, with 10. The show will be broadcast on HLN Sunday, June 16.

Pieces on the band Pussy Riot and the iconic actress Marilyn Monroe are among a 10-week anthology series airing Mondays on HBO starting June 10, according to a press release. Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer tells the story of the colorful band members who staged a protest inside Russia's main cathedral. Love, Marilyn—coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Monroe's death—presents footage and audiotapes along with recently discovered handwritten letters, diaries and journals; the film features appearances and readings by Ellen Burstyn, Glenn Close, Viola Davis, Jeremy Piven and Uma Thurman, among others.

Wedding planner, author and My Fair Wedding host David Tutera is fighting allegations made by his estranged husband, Ryan Jurica, that he has a sex addiction and a penchant for prostitutes, according to the Huffington Post. In a statement, Tutera said, "The allegations against me are baseless and untrue and I will fight vigorously to defend my reputation in the court of law as well as the court of public opinion." The couple (who are expecting twins via a surrogate in July) married in Vermont in 2003 and had a domestic partnership in California.

On the show The Rubin Report, Lance Bass discussed the boys of the boy band One Direction, whose bromance will be on the big screen this summer in the documentary This Is Us, according to Gay.net . Bass commented, "Statistically speaking, one [of them] probably is [gay]. But it's crazy with a market like that because [it's] 100-percent young women and they fantasize about these guys." Bass added that coming out basically ruins the business plans of record companies (from the labels' perspectives).

Robbie Rogers—a U.S. soccer player who played several years in Europe before coming out as gay—is now training with the Los Angeles Galaxy, Advocate.com reported. Rogers, 25, came out in February, and then said he was leaving soccer; currently, his contract is with the Chicago Fire if he decides to play again. Chicago's head coach, Frank Klopas, reiterated his support for Rogers.

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is to play the lead in a new HBO pilot, according to Digital Spy. The star will reteam with his Pain & Gain co-star Mark Wahlberg (serving as executive producer) for the half-hour comedy drama, which follows a team of retired Miami athletes. If picked up, the new show would mark Johnson's first regular television role.

Former NFL player Tony Casillas said he played next to gay players on the Dallas Cowboys team in the '90s, according to On Top Magazine. "There's a certain amount of intimacy in the locker room—I'm not talking in a personal way, but intimacy as far as working hard and being that close together, as far as accomplishing something on the football field. The problem is this society. That's why I applaud Jason Collins for coming out." Casillas added that he believes most athletes don't care about a teammate's sexual orientation.

Jeanne Cooper—best known as the matriarch Katherine Chancellor on the daytime serial The Young and the Restless—has died at age 84, according to TheWrap.com . Her son, actor Corbin Bernsen, made the announcement on his Facebook page. Cooper received 10 Daytime Emmy nominations and two Primetime Emmy nods; she received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Daytime Emmys in 2004.

Lindsay Lohan has set the record straight about her sexuality, so to speak. According to the Huffington Post, Piers Morgan asked Lohan, "Do you think you're bisexual?" She answered, "Not really. I like being in a relationship with a guy. But there's something just different about it with a woman. When I was with Samantha (Ronson), I didn't want to leave, because I didn't want to be alone. It was very toxic. And her family controlled anything she did."

Peter Rauhofer—the iconic DJ and producer who remixed hits by artists such as Madonna, Whitney Houston and Britney Spears—has died of brain cancer at 48, the Huffington Post reported. Rauhofer, who was best known for spinning tribal house, served as the resident DJ at the gay dance night at New York City's now-defunct Roxy nightclub.

A U.S. magistrate judge sentenced Grammy-winning hip-hop artist Lauryn Hill to three months in prison, three months in home confinement and a $60,000 fine for federal tax evasion, according to Yahoo! News. Hill pleaded guilty last year to three counts of failing to file tax returns on more than $1.8 million of income between 2005 and 2007. Hill has released her first single in several years, entitled "Neurotic Society."

Border2Border Entertainment has released the documentary I'm a Stripper, a press release stated. The film follows the lives of three male strippers in Montreal, Niagara Falls and Las Vegas. I'm a Stripper is available now for streaming rental or purchase through iTunes, WolfeonDemand.com, YouTube and ILoveDocs.com, or on DVD from Amazon and TLAgay.com .

Australian film director Baz Luhrmann wants to team up with actor Leonardo DiCaprio for a third time—this time in an adaption of Hamlet, the New York Post reported. "To me, [The Great] Gatsby [which stars DiCaprio] is the American Hamlet. What else could we possibly do as a follow-up?" Luhrmann told the Hollywood Reporter. Luhrmann directed 1996's Romeo + Juliet, in which DiCaprio and Claire Danes played the title roles.

Following the recent announcement that his latest Broadway foray, a revival of Orphans, will close early due to sluggish ticket sales, Alec Baldwin went online to criticize the New York Times critic who panned the play, according to Eonline.com . Ben Brantley, the Times' chief theater critic, not only called Orphans a "limp revival" but described Baldwin's part in it as "a mutating cartoon of a performance, with only hints of the requisite menace." On the Huffington Post, Baldwin, among other things, "Whereas [former Times critic Frank] Rich's keen sense of what worked or did not work on stage helped to elevate the position of his desk, Brantley is viewed as some odd, shriveled, bitter Dickensian clerk."

Emmy-winning actress Jane Lynch, known for playing cheer coach Sue Sylveter on TV's Glee, will begin performances as orphanage matron Miss Hannigan in Broadway's Annie May 15—one day earlier than expected, according to Playbill.com . Lynch, who will make her Broadway debut in Annie, will perform through July 14 in the Tony-nominated Best Revival. Lynch's stage credits include working at Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre Company and The Second City.

Tony winners Glenn Close and Martin Short, along with Monty Python's Eric Idle, will be part of The Public Theater's one-night-only gala concert of the acclaimed 1980 production of The Pirates of Penzance June 10 at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, Playbill.com noted. Tony and Oscar winner Kevin will reprise his performance as the Pirate King. The evening will pay tribute to late Academy Award-winning writer Nora Ephron (When Harry Met Sally; Sleepless in Seattle), who died June 26, 2012.

Kelly Clarkson is defending fellow singer Pink after the latter was forced to cancel a show in England because of illness and was unable to reschedule it, according to ABC News. After fans complained about Pink's no-show Clarkson sent out a message of solidarity to her friend from WhoSay: "How dare you only work 364 days this year. I can't believe you got sick. That never happens to anyone … ever. You're so lazy." The American Idol alumna continued, "Seriously, people. Tired of seeing everyone giving her crap. We're all human. Relax."

Out singer George Michael has reportedly just wrapped up a two-month stint in Australian luxury drug and alcohol rehab clinic Sanctuary, according to Musicfeeds.com .au. Michael reportedly sought treatment for emotional anxiety and various other health concerns, and it was also reported that the 49-year-old singer's partner, Fadi Fawaz, stayed with Michael at one of facilities' luxury houses. Last September Michael cancelled his Australian tour due to suffering from "major anxiety."
