International Human Rights Resolution Backed

MartÌn Ornelas-Quintero, executive director of LLEG©˜, attended the announcement of a proposed historic congressional human-rights resolution proposed specifically to protect LGBT people around the world.

The bipartisan resolution, introduced by Reps. Tom Lantos, D-Calif., and Christopher Shays, R-Conn., calls on the State Department to improve its documentation of foreign human-rights abuses on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.
