Amy Ray and Emily Saliersbetter known as Indigo Girlsshowed the "Power of Two" with two concerts at The Vic the second week of November.
The "Power" ballad was a real crowd-pleaser, as many of the audience sang along in harmony. The house lights came up as many females swayed back and forth with their arms locked around each other.
The Southern duo mixed it up, playing past hits alongside newly written endeavors from Beauty Queen Sister such as "John." However, attendees were chatty while waiting for more recognizable lyrics from the folk rockers.
When "Least Complicated" rose, most of the people jumped up and danced or belted the chorus from their seats. Chairs filled the general-admission room for a change from the usual concert at this venue.
People seemed to hang on their every note with the popular "Get Out the Map." The group took onlookers along on a journey through the evening.
As promised, Ray and Saliers kept the set list spontaneous, which made "Closer to Fine" and "Shame On You" a surprise concerning their placement during the show.
The Girls showed their fans haven't wavered much since the '90s by rocking the house two nights in a row, filling the place almost to the top of the balcony.
