ATC's Paparelli dies at 40
PJ ( nee: Paul Joseph ) Paparelli, the artistic director of the American Theater Company, has died at age 40 after being involved a car accident while on vacation in Scotland, The Chicago Tribune noted.
He was vacationing with his close friend, David Charles Goyette, an assistant theater professor at Truman State University. Goyette was not in the vehicle at the time.
Paparelli, who held a BFA from Pittsburgh's Carnegie-Mellon University, was a resident of Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood.

Barrel of Monkeys ED steps down
Barrel of Monkeys' board of directors announced that Amanda Farrar will be stepping down as the company's executive director at the end of May.
Farrar served nearly six years in that position.
In a statement, she said, "I can't capture in a short statement what Barrel of Monkeys has meant to me over the years. The impact we collectively make on students is significant, and I'm so proud of having played a part in celebrating every single student with whom we've worked."
Member Gwen Tulin will serve as interim executivedirector during the search for a new executive director.
Barrel of Monkeys is a Chicago-based arts-education theater ensemble now in its 18th season.
