Howard Brown Health Center ( HBHC ), 4025 N. Sheridan Rd., hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 22 to celebrate the completion of its exam room expansion.
The Sheridan location exam room has now doubled its capacity by adding four new rooms, increasing from nine to 13.
A press release stated, "In addition to cutting down patient wait times, this expansion will allow for HBHC to have 8,000 additional patient visits a year, which in 8-10 years translates into 80,000-100,000 additional visits."
Among those who attended the ceremony were HBHC President/CEO David Ernesto Munar, Alds. Tom Tunney and James Cappleman, and state Reps. Sara Feigenholtz and Greg Harris.
