'Seven Years of Attacks' is a special evening of live readings from humor/lifestyle columnist Homer Marrs.
Begun in 2005 in Out Las Vegas magazine, "Marrs Attacks" has been quietly inspiring thought and laughter in LGBT publications including Nightspots, Outlands, Reno Out, and Nashville's Out and About Newspaper.
(Half of those are now defunct, which may or may not be linked to their choice to include the column.)
Homer Marrs is a writer, musician, comedian and actor living in Chicago. He has written for Film.com, American Theatre, Time Out Chicago, Las Vegas Magazine, QVegas and others, but Nightspots is his favorite because they pay so generously. As an actor he has toured with the Second City Touring Company and appeared on AMC, the Travel Channel, and in Pope John Paul II High School's famed 1994 production of "The King and I," in which he played Anna's young son because his voice still hadn't changed at 16.
Also reading are fellow Nightspots columnist A.K. Miller and editor/columnist Kirk Williamson.
