In Tell Me About It, author/historians St. Sukie de la Croix and Owen Keehnen asked a variety of individuals 10 specific questions.
The frank, audacious, hilarious and sometimes heartbreaking responses they received resonated with readers from all walks of life. The book offered a glimpse into the individual life experiences that have quietly brought LGBTQ people together into a community. Through the voices of others, Tell Me About It revealed who we are, what we share, and why we must never allow ourselves to be silenced again.
Now, de la Croix and Keehnen are asking for readers' assistance once again. They are collaborating on a second volume of the Tell Me About It series and are looking for folks to answer up to 20 questions.
Participants may share as themselves, using a nickname or anonymously.
If you are interested in taking part in the second installment of the popular Tell Me About It series, email OwenKeehnen@yahoo.com and/or Sukie@ChicagoWhispers.com for the questions and brief instructions.
Sharing stories and experiences is a key component in building and strengthening the LGBTQ community.
Deadline for submissions to Tell Me About It 2 is Sept. 1.
