Michelle Obama's Chicago high school alma mater, Whitney Young High School, will name its new $4.3-million athletic complex after the former first lady, according to an WGNTV.com item that cites The Chicago Sun-Times.

Obama graduated from the school in 1981.

She did not play sports in high school, but she supported her "Let's Move!" national fitness campaign—an initiative to fight obesity—while Barack Obama was president.
