Gilda's Club Chicago, Howard Brown Counseling Center join for support group

CHICAGO — Gilda's Club Chicago is pleased to offer a new support group, LGBTQIA+ Cancer Networking group at Howard Brown Counseling Center starting January 13, 2020 and continuing the second Monday of every month. This free support group at Howard Brown Counseling Center is for anyone within the LGBTQIA+ community who has been impacted by cancer, including those who are living with cancer, family members and friends.

"At Gilda's Club Chicago we are welcoming to all who have impacted by cancer. Cancer doesn't discriminate - and neither do we."

The LGBTQIA+ Cancer Networking group will be facilitated by Christina Zerwer, LCPC and Paige Jeffrey, MSW Intern. Transportation assistance is available.

GCC is an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community, which includes a network of over 50 local Clubs and 100 satellite locations, as well as online resources.
