Popcornopolis ( Popcornopolis.com ): Garrett is not the only popcorn master, apparently. Popcornopolis has an incredibly tasty line of offerings, including Zebra Chocolate Peanut Butter, Three Cheese, Zebra Chocolate Striped, Pesto Mozzarella, White Chocolate Pumpkin Spice and Karamel Kiss. In addition, the company has staunchly been behind a cause: Popcornopolis has raised more than $10 million for non-profit groups by partnering with organizations that support youth and education across America.
Handbook of LGBT Tourism and Hospitality: A Guide for Business Practice: Traveling to six continents, writers Jeff Guaracino and Ed Salvato interviewed nearly 100 industry experts and analyzed multiple emerging trends among LGBT travelers. What results is an easy-to-read book with everything from milestones in LGBT marketing to business spotlights to glossaries that accompany each chapter.
Lume Cube: Lume Cube is an external flash and lighting experience for use with smartphones, digital cameras, drones, DSLR cameras and GoPros. Not only does it produce 1,500 lumens of light ( which makes it pretty bright ), but there's also a Bluetooth-connected iOS app for Android phones and iPhones.
When You Look Out the Window: Out June 5, the children's book When You Look Out the Window tells the story of Phyllis Lyon and Del Martin, one of San Francisco's most well-known and politically active lesbian couples. "Window" includes a reading guide that provides helpful historical context as well as a note to parents, caregivers and educators about the importance of teaching LGBTQ history and culture to children.
The Baton Show Lounge: Even though the River North venue is nearing 50 years, The Baton is showing no signs of slowing down. Led by Ginger Grant and Chili Pepper ( who can throw some serious shadeusually, in a good waywith one look ), the impersonators/entertainers also include Sherri Payne, Victoria La Paige, Jackie Couture, Regine Phillips and ab-licious Angel Saez, among others.
