Five Worth Finding: Gay spy movie, Santa Suite and more
2019-12-11

—London Spy: In this British-American series that originally aired in 2015, devil-may-care Danny ( played by a fantastic Ben Whishaw ) meets the straight-laced, enigmatic and handsome Alex ( played by Edward Holcroft ). What ensues ( aided by the extraordinary Jim Broadbent, Charlotte Rampling and Mark Gatiss, among others ) is a labyrinthine plot of sex, spies, deceit and—oh, yes!—murder. It's available on Netflix and other platforms.

—Swissotel's Santa Suite: For the sixth consecutive year, Swissotel Chicago will transform its 2,000-square-foot presidential suite into Santa's home-away-from-the-Pole for the holiday season. Until Dec. 22, families are invited to enjoy elf-guided tours of the suite, and there will be letter-writing stations, gourmet food offerings and more. Tickets are already available, for $15 each; visit "Santa Days at Swissotel Chicago Santa Suite" at Eventbrite.com .

—Nevermore Park: The Home of Flyboy ( NevermorePark.com ): Artist Hebru Brantley's immersive art experience aims to titillate almost all the senses, with art, soundscapes, music and more. It's at 949 W. 16th St. until Dec. 29.

—T-Shirt Deli ( TShirtDeli.com ): Located in Chicago's Bucktown and Andersonville neighborhoods, the very customizable T-shirts here are actually treated like deli items—they come wrapped in deli paper, complete with a bag of chips. There are also ready-made T-shirts and even dog apparel.

—Dinosaur Bar-B-Que rubs and sauces dinobbq.securetree.com/sauces-and-rubs/ ): If you're thinking of getting something for your favorite cook, consider this "saucy" brand. These provide sweet, spicy and savory tweaks; are all-natural and gluten-free; and can be purchased online or at Whole Foods.
