CHICAGO ( October 5, 2017 ): The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce ( ACC ) will host the culminating Andersonville Dessert Crawl on the weekend proceeding Halloween, Sunday, October 29 from 2-5PM. Tickets are available for crawlers of all ages online now for two curated routes, GUMDROP MOUNTAINS or PEPPERMINT FOREST, each featuring 11 sweet stops.
"While this year's event marks the end to the original Dessert Crawl, we plan to combine it with Dinner Crawl in 2018 to provide a full-flavored 'Taste of Andersonville' experience for our guests," said Laura Austin, Community and Events Manager with the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce. "Stay tuned for more!"
This year's crawl will feature newcomers Fat Chris's Pizza & Such and Blu 57. Both establishments celebrated grand openings last month and will make exciting additions to both crawl routes. Selling to capacity in past years at 600 attendees, the event will also serve as a fundraiser for Edgewater's Care for Real, with $1 from each ticket sale going to support the neighborhood food pantry.
