Chicago, IL - Martie Marro, co-producer and composer for the feature film Fall Away, will be hosting two trailer screening parties to complete the funding for the remainder of the shoot.

Fall Away is a Chicago based drama about the brutal murder of the secretly gay lead singer of an alternative country band. As the band travels to Nashville to honor his passing, the story delves into clips of past, present, and future to reveal the various facets of his complex personality and tortured history. "We wanted to examine the effects of prejudice in today's America, and the heavy toll taken by a life of concealing one's true identity, while telling a story that can resonate universally.", said Boris Wexler, the producer of the film.

Fall Away is written and directed by award winning filmmaker Julian Grant, who has over 24 feature films to his credit, including the much acclaimed mini-series "Robocop: Prime Directives", produced by Boris Wexler, and based on an original story by Grant Stokes, who plays the lead role. The ensemble of 13 actors includes Grant Stokes, Nathanael Card as John ( Jake's lover ) , Erinn Strain as Mel ( his ex girlfriend ) , and Ann Hagemann, who was recently starring in "Hannah Free", as promoter Molly. The film shot for one month in January, in a number of landmark Chicago locations, such as the iconic Reggie's Rock Bar, The South Loop, Millennium Park, and Lakeshore Drive, and is now on hiatus until the production goes to Laporte, IN, and Nashville,TN in April 2010. Details are available at www.fallawayfilm.com .

The two parties will be hosted on Saturday March 27th and Wednesday March 30th as house parties, and will feature a screening of the first trailer for the film, band performances, and greetings with the cast and crew of the film. The host, Martie Marro has received many awards including a Gay and Lesbian Music Award for Best Video and additional LGBT Recording Academy Awards for Outstanding Soundtrack.
