Based on one of the biggest blockbusters in cinematic history, "Jurassic World: The Exhibition" is open at the Field Museum.
Taking place in a 16,000-square-foot tent connected to the museum, the exhibit features settings the film inspiredblending real-world science and education.
Visitors are able to see real dinosaur fossils at the museum, and will be able to imagine what it would have been like to walk among these animals. Guests will be able to encounter predatory and herbivorous dinosaurs alike, ranging from a towering brachiosaurus to a velociraptor to a massive Tyrannosaurus rex.
People can also experience the family-friendly Gentle Giants Petting Zoo; step behind the glass into The Hammond Creation Lab; and get a special preview of Jurassic World's top-secret project, the Indominus rex.
