Olympic diver Tom Daley and Oscar-winning Hollywood screenwriter Dustin Lance Black are on the cover of OUT magazine's "Love Issue." Of their relationship's beginning, Daley said, "We spoke every day, nonstop. My phone would buzz, and we'd just be in constant communication; it was kind of insane—like there was nothing else around me." On their initial encounter, Black said, "Tom took my phone, and he typed his number in with a winky face. At which point I felt I had confirmation that he was a gay. I've never in my life heard of a straight man putting his number in another man's phone with a winky face."

The New York-based GMHC released a statement regarding what it termed host Ricky Gervais' "transphobic" barbs at this year's Golden Globes involving Caitlyn Jenner, Transparent actor Jeffrey Tambor and Eddie Redmayne's role of Lili in the movie The Danish Girl. GMHC CEO Kelsey Louie said, in part, "While Ricky's transphobic jokes were appalling, we should be equally outraged at NBC because Ricky was doing what NBC paid him to do: offend, and he certainly succeeded. I believe we need to ask NBC why they employed someone in such a high-profile role that is in direct contradiction to their 'values.'"

Teen Wolf actor Charlie Carver has come out of the closet, according to Advocate.com . Carver ( who has acted in such shows as The Leftovers, Desperate Housewives and Teen Wolf with his twin, Max ) posted on Instagram, "Let the record show this—I self-identify as gay. And does that really matter anymore? As a young man, I needed a young man in Hollywood to say that—and without being a dick about it, I owe it to myself, more than anything, to be who I needed when I was younger." He added that he believes the idea that actors should remain closeted is a thing of the past.

Transgender director Lana Wachowski ( Sense8, The Matrix, Cloud Atlas ) is featured in the Marc Jacobs spring 2016 ad campaign, shot by photographer David Sims, according to Towleroad. Jacobs shared the photo to his Instagram account, along with a message about his relationship with Wachowski. He said, in part, "This season's ad campaign represents a series of connected events; a visual narrative. It is a personal diary of people who have and continue to inspire me and open my mind to different ways of seeing and thinking."

Actor/rapper Jaden Smith ( the 17-year-old son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith ) is the new face of Louis Vuitton's spring/summer 2016 womenswear line for, according to Vibe.com . A shoot, snapped by photographer Bruce Weber, features Jaden in pieces from Louis Vuitton's women's collection, debuted at Paris Fashion Week. Among other things, Jaden has worn a dress to prom, as well as a Batman costume to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding.

Logo announced a week of original programming and specials during Aspen Gay Ski Week, an annual gay ski party that attracts thousands of LGBT attendees each year, according to a press release. For the first time in Aspen Gay Ski Week's nearly 40 year history, viewers at home will get a glimpse at the popular destination when Logo brings top talent and a completely reimagined "New Now Next Honors" to Aspen. At the Honors, host Margaret Cho and a celebrity panel ( including Lance Bass and Carson Kressley ) will honor the new TV shows, films and music artists to watch in 2016.

Gloria Vanderbilt is the subject of an HBO documentary on her life, exec-produced by her son Anderson Cooper, who conducted the interviews, according to Deadline. Cooper said, while interviewing his mother for the film Nothing Left Unsaid, he was struck by the fact that that Vanderbilt ( despite the valleys in her life ) is "far more joyous than me." Nothing Left Unsaid: Gloria Vanderbilt & Anderson Cooper premieres April 9 on HBO.

Beyonce stormed the stage during the season two premiere of Lip Sync Battle—to crash Channing Tatum's performance of the superstar's song "Run the World ( Girls )," ABC News noted. Tatum went against his wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum, during the episode, performing his own rendition of a few favorites, including "Let It Go" from the film Frozen. With "Run the World," Tatum, performed in full costume, complete with a blond wig, crop top and thigh-high boots; after Beyonce joined him on stage, the two finished the performance together, hugging it out and playing in each other's hair.

Speaking of Beyonce, she is expected to join Coldplay onstage during halftime of the Super Bowl, according to TheWrap. She will likely join Coldplay for "Hymn for the Weekend," since she's featured on that track from the band's latest album.

Kate McKinnon ( SNL ) and Kumail Nanjiani will co-host the 2016 Film Independent Spirit awards, according to TheWrap. The 31st annual awards ceremony will take place Feb. 27.

Adam Lambert headed Forbes list of the top-earning American Idols in 2015, edging out arguably more famous and higher-selling artists like Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson, according to Queerty. How? He did it by being the frontman for Queen, for which he earned the bulk of his $10 million earnings from last year.

Clay Aiken has made news for criticizing the season premiere of the final season of American Idol, according to TheWrap. "Watching @americanidol for the first time in a decade. You never know what you've got til it's gone," Aiken tweeted. "Well… now I know why the ratings are down." He also posted, "Oh good Lord… those boring ass responses from the judges!? Where is Simon [Cowell] when you need him!?" Aiken placed second to Ruben Suddard on the Fox singing competition show in 2003, and was runner-up on season five of The Celebrity Apprentice.

Caitlyn Jenner has canceled her upcoming five-city speaking tour, according to USA Today. The tour was to begin in late February, stopping in Toronto, Vancouver, Denver, San Francisco and Seattle, but "those dates conflicted with another work commitment," publicist Alan Nierob said.

Actress/teen activist Amandla Stenberg came out as bisexual—and used Snapchat to do it, Mashable noted. The former Hunger Games star is currently on the cover of Teen Vogue and took over the magazine's Snapchat account to deliver a series of candid video messages while wearing a "Black Girls are Magic" sweater. "As someone who identifies as a black, bisexual woman, I've been through it," she says in one video.

Janet Jackson said she doesn't have cancer, but she isn't specifying the illness that interfered with a concert tour, The Huffington Post noted. On her Twitter account, Jackson posted a two-minute clip from her song "The Great Forever," followed by a personal message in which she said she's recovering but offered no further details. She said her doctors have approved her concerts as scheduled in Europe.

Speaking of the Jacksons, Michael Jackson's Off the Wall is being reissued with a new Spike Lee documentary about the hallmark 1979 album, The Huffington Post reported. Jackson's estate and publisher Sony Music are rereleasing the 36-year-old album with a DVD of the film entitled Michael Jackson's Journey from Motown to Off the Wall on Feb. 26.

Long-running reality show America's Next Top Model—which the CW canceled after 22 cycles—is heading to VH1, according to The New York Daily News. It's not yet clear whether supermodel Tyra Banks, who had hosted the campy competition since it debuted in 2003, or any of the other cast members will return. Banks launched syndicated talk show FAB Life last September as its host and an executive producer, but quit just two months later, saying in a statement that she planned to spend more time on her cosmetics company.

Disney has unveiled a slate of 13 films to run this year, according to Variety. The list includes potential blockbusters like Rogue One, Doctor Strange, Alice Through the Looking Glass and Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, but also lesser-known offerings like The Finest Hours, Queen of Katwe ( with Lupita Nyong'o ) and a remake of Jungle Book. Disney drew huge audiences in 2015, concluding the year with the record-breaking Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Hanky has apparently gotten a reputation as the "Mean Girls" of gay-dating apps. A NewNowNext.com article profiles the app, which, according to a press release, "has been developed in response to growing concerns about the trolling of ordinary users of dating apps." Jonas Cronfeld, the co-founder of the app ( which is currently only available for iPhones ), said that eight out of 10 applicants are rejected with the hope to get more "more sexy" users. New users must be recommended via a pre-existing user orvoted on by a panel of three verified members.

Transgender musician Cait Brennan will debut her work, Debutante, on eight-track tape, digital format, vinyl and CD on Jan. 22, according to a press release. Debutante contains 13 tracks, including "Black Diamond" and "Harmoney Lies." See PlanetCait.com .

Actor Charlie Sheen, 50, recently discussed his fight against HIV on The Dr. Oz Show, stating that he's dedicating his life to eradicating the disease that can lead to AIDS, according to The New York Daily News. "I hope in my abilities to do something really positive with this," he said. Sheen added that he has changed his lifestyle, curtailing his drinking and committing to working out regularly, including jogging, swimming and yoga.

Amid buzz of Madonna's rekindled romance with ex-husband Sean Penn, she's also reportedly tighter than ever with old pal Rosie O'Donnell, according to Page Six. Madonna and O'Donnell have supposedly been bonding lately over reported problems concerning their respective kids. Madonna's been in a custody battle with Guy Ritchie over their son Rocco, 15, who's refused to come home to his mom from Ritchie in London; O'Donnell's problems with adopted teen daughter, Chelsea, were documented last year.

Natalie Cole was remembered and celebrated by fellow musicians Lionel Richie, Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson, among others, at her funeral on Jan. 11, according to US Weekly. The "Unforgettable" singer was celebrated with a nearly three-hour service at West Angeles Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles. Cole, the daughter of the famed crooner Nat King Cole, died at age 65 on New Year's Eve from pulmonary arterial hypertension.

National Geographic Channel is unveiling the six-part series Original Sin: How Sex Changed the World, according to Deadline. The production, from World of Wonder, will look at the "sexual revolution" of the past half-century and how it has affected culture, science and politics in the United States and around the world. Among the topics that will be explored are sex robots, privacy and Thailand's move to include the term "third gender" in its constitution.

Commissioner Robert D. Manfred Jr. announced that Major League Baseball has appointed former Major League player Curtis Pride as its newest Ambassador for Inclusion, according to MLB.com . In addition, Billy Bean, who was hired as the league's inaugural Ambassador for Inclusion in July 2014, has been promoted to the expanded position of Vice President, Social Responsibility & Inclusion.

Ryan Reynolds tweeted along with the rest of Bachelor Nation during Ben Higgins' season-20 premiere on Jan. 4, US Weekly noted. "If I were on The Bachelor, I'd step out of that limo wearing nothing but white socks and like, 312 candy necklaces. #DeadpoolOnTheBachelor," said Reynolds, who stars in the upcoming movie Deadpool.

Co-leads Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley were reportedly told to stop drinking on the set of Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, after their partying got too "out of hand," Gay Times Magazine noted. The Mirror recently ran, "It was getting so out of hand producers had to remind everyone that while they didn't mind them drinking after the cameras stopped rolling, during filming was a big no-no." The film will be released later this year, and it features cameos from such personalities as Kim Kardashian and Kate Moss.

Singer and The Wiz Live! co-star Ne-Yo is blaming Citibank for turning a blind eye to his ex-manager's alleged fraud, in which he drained at least $2.4 million from the entertainer's accounts between 2011 and 2013, Page Six noted. Ne-Yo says in a countersuit against the bank that it never alerted him to the hundreds of times his former business adviser Kevin Foster allegedly transferred huge amounts. Citibank earlier sued Ne-Yo over a $1.4 million loan for which he says he never signed; he subsequently sued Foster, saying he owes him $8 million.

Balmain's spring 2016 campaign, creative director Olivier Rousteing is bringing back the iconic faces of the '90s supermodel era. Rousteing recruited Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer, and Naomi Campbell for the campaign, shot by legendary fashion photographer Steven Klein, Yahoo! News reported. "Those four singular talents have inspired me from day one," Rousteing said in a press release. "When I was a schoolboy in Bordeaux, it was their editorials that first made clear to me the amazing transformative power of fashion."

The Royals will be back for a third season. E! has ordered 10 one-hour episodes of the drama that centers around a fictional modern-day royal family. The series stars Elizabeth Hurley as calculating Queen Helena. She's joined by William Moseley, Alexandra Park, Tom Austen, Oliver Milburn and Jake Maskall; in addition, Joan Collins stars as the Grand Duchess of Oxford.

HBO has confirmed that Game of Thrones will return for a sixth season on April 24, Deadline confirmed. The 10-episode season will, for the first time, consist exclusively of material not actually adapted from George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire book series. Martin recently announced that he was unable to complete the next installment, The Winds Of Winter, far enough in advance for his publishers to get the book out before the show returns.

Kicking off the sixth and final season of Downton Abbey in the United States, PBS Masterpiece registered an average audience of 9.9 million viewers for the debut episode, Deadline noted. The season will now continue for eight more episodes, with the "Christmas special" finale airing in early March.

The HBO show Girls will end after its sixth season, TheWrap reported. The Lena Dunham comedy is preparing to premiere its fifth season this spring. Girls stars Dunham, Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet and Adam Driver in a series about women in their 20s as they maneuver through life.

TNT flagship drama Rizzoli & Isles will end its run with the upcoming 13-episode seventh season, according to Deadline. Rizzoli & Isles, which stars Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander, was a breakout hit and remains a top performer for the network. Overall, the sixth season of Rizzoli & Isles is reaching an average of 11.1 million viewers per episode across TNT's on-demand, digital and mobile platforms.
