—In celebration of National Pasta Month this October, Phil Stefani's Tuscany Restaurants in Chicago, Oak Brook and Wheeling will offer a chef's pasta flight for $20. ( Flight items include fettucine boscaiola, raviolacci di brasato and ziti al salmone. ) The special will be available Sunday, Oct. 2, through Monday, Oct. 31, at lunch and dinner ( Sunday through Friday only, and not valid with any other offers of promotions ).

—For National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 312 Chicago, 136 N. LaSalle St., has partnered with Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University to donate $1 per cocktail from its "Drink Pink" menu. Crafted by Head Bartender Jennifer Knott, the menu, which consists of pink cocktails, a lemonade mocktail and Rose, will be available until Oct. 31. Items include Pretty in Pink ( $11 ), Strawberry-Shrub Lemonade ( $6 ) and Sokol Blosser Rose of Pinot Noir ( $12 ), among others.

—In addition, 312 Chicago Chef Luca Corazzina has sourced his black truffles from Tuscany collaboration Savini Tartufi to offer homemade egg noodle pasta with parmesan, butter, shaved tuscan truffles. The weekly wine pairings ( $15-$20 ) will be specially priced with offerings like Produttori del Barbaresc and Oddero Barolo, which normally sell for $100+ per bottle.

—The recently opened fourteensixteen in downtown La Grange will open for Saturday and Sunday brunch beginning Oct. 8. The restaurant's rooftop terrace will be open through the fall months during brunch hours. Items include lobster deviled eggs with black truffle caviar and lemon essence; carrot-cake pancake with orange cream-cheese icing, walnuts and micro shiso; Millers chicken Sandwich with hazelnut pesto and fresh mozzarella on a multigrain bun; and pork shoulder hash with eight-hour braised pork served with two eggs any style.

—Nellcote and RM are rolling out rosé in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month by donating a portion of proceeds from every glass pour of their light bodied, Francois Montand Sparkling Rosé to Bright Pink, a Chicago-based non-profit focused on the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer in young women. The price per pour is $12, and proceeds from each glass sold throughout the entire month of October will benefit the organization.

—Hotel Palomar, 505 N. State St., will be partnering with Dylan's Candy Bar to offer various experiences to consumers. They include complimentary candy cocktails & mocktails for guests ( Fridays at 5-6 p.m. ); a holiday elevator takeover weekly in December; a Sweet Suite package ( a suite takeover by Dylan's ); and Dylan's Candy Bar Package ( overnight stay, tour of the Michigan Avenue store, 15-percent discount, complimentary candy bar, etc. ). —Entente, the latest venture from Fujimura Hospitality, will open at 3056 N. Lincoln Ave. on Friday, Oct. 14, at 5 p.m. It will offer a menu imagined by Chef Brian Fisher and Chef Mari Katsumura, with a focused beverage program curated by Beverage Director Angie Silberberg. According to a press release, "The casual, fine-dining spot offers an ever-changing a la carte menu, inspired by seasonality, creativity and the melting pot of cultures that make up the diversity of the chefs."

—Dovetail Brewery, 1800 W. Belle Plaine Ave., has released a fall seasonal beer, the Rauchweizen ( a smoked wheat beer ). Smoked beer is an old German beer style with origins dating back to the 1500s. The 22,000-square -foot brewing facility includes a tap room that is open to the public for drinking and retail sales.

—Carnivale, a Latin-fusion restaurant located in Chicago's West Loop neighborhood, will expand beyond its brick and mortar location on Oct. 10. A food truck will offer items like the arrachera steak prepared as a sandwich, a chorizo burger topped with a spicy a aji amarillo aioli, a Cuban sandwich and hand-cut French fries served in three styles: chimichurri, Disco ( New York poutine style ) or Parmesan truffle. —Kendall College Trust is holding the Fried Chicken & Champagne Fest on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 11:30-3 p.m. Host of WTTW Chicago's Check, Please! and Kendall College Trust Executive Director Catherine De Orio will host. Tickets are $85-$175 each, and the event will feature recipes by Chefs Ryan McCaskey ( Acadia ), Lee Wolen ( Boka ), Brian Jupiter ( The Frontier ), Cam Waron and Becca Waron ( Honey Butter Fried Chicken ), Ashlee Aubin ( Salero/Wood ), Matt Troost ( Three Aces/Charlatan ) and more. —To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Caffe Umbria, 346 N. Clark St., will donate $1 from every 12-ounce bag of Gusto Crema Blend ( $11.50 ) purchased at the cafe in October to the Lynn Sage Foundation's In Good Taste Campaign.

—Gene & Georgetti ( 500 N. Franklin St., downtown; and 9241 W. Higgins Rd., in Rosemont ) supports National Adoption Month in November by donating a portion of proceeds from dessert sales to Oak Park based Hephzibah Children's Association. Guests to both Chicago and Rosemont locations can enjoy signature favorites like Tiramisu, Spumoni, Chocolate Tuxedo Mousse Cake and Gene & Georgetti's famous Italian Lemon Creme Layer Cake.

—French restaurant Bistronomic, 840 N. Wabash Ave., will offer a Beaujolais Nouveau three-course prix fixe menu available from Nov. 17-22 beginning at 5 p.m. each evening. The special menu will feature classic French dishes that are designed to be paired with a glass of Beaujolais wine. Seasonal and local ingredients will be used in the three-course menu that also a glass of Beaujolais Nouveau wine for $39 per person. Call 312-944-8400.

—Thanksgiving pies will return to the French-inspired patisserie Vanille. This is the only time of the year pies come out of the Vanille kitchen and, this year, three seasonal favorites will be offered: Pumpkin with Cinnamon Whipped Cream, Apple Streusel and Traditional Pecan. Along with the pies, Vanille will be hosting its first-ever Cereal Drive. Throughout November, Vanille will collect cereal at all three of its Chicago locations to be donated to Lakeview Pantry. —Fairmont Chicago, 200 N. Columbus Dr., is kicking off the 2016 holiday season with its third annual Cookies and Cheer Luxury Cookie Exchange on Thursday, Dec. 1, 5:30-7:30 p.m. During the event, guests will have the opportunity to sample unlimited cookies from the wide variety of unique seasonal offerings including chai snickerdoodles, double-fudge oatmeal stout cookies and orange walnut spice logs.
