—Lark has opened in Boystown at 3441 N. Halsted St. The restaurant will feature cocktails and Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas. See LarkChicago.com . Also, Hewn—an artisanal bakery in Evanston ( at 810 Dempster St. ) specializing in heritage grains and hand-forged, naturally fermented breads and pastries—has reopened. Baker/wwner Ellen King has items such as salads, flatbreads and sandwiches like Morrocan eggplant as well as Brie and ham. See HewnBread.com .

—Berwyn restaurant Autre Monde, 6727 W. Roosevelt Rd., is hosting a collaborative culinary event with four Chicago-area restaurants for a Friends of James Beard Dinner on Thursday, June 23, at 6:30 p.m. Host Chefs and Autre Monde Executive Chefs Dan Pancake and Beth Partridge will team with Chicago's chefs, including James Beard Award Winner Chef Tony Mantuano of Spiaggia, Chef Danny Mejia of mfk, Chef Cameron Grant and Aldo Zaninotto of Osteria Langhe, Dave and Meghan Miller of Baker Miller, and CH Distillery. —Firecakes Donuts is celebrating "Pride Week" with a special limited edition Pride Donut available at both Firecakes Donuts Chicago locations: 68 W. Hubbard St. ( 312-329-6500 ) in River North and 2453 N. Clark St. ( 773-666-5277 ). —Through June 30, certain locals will promote a partnership with Wellness Grub, calling their friends/followers/others to go into Chicago-area Wellness Grub locations and purchase a certain color juice—with 20 percent of sales going toward the winner's LGBT charity. Wellness Grub is at Equinox Lincoln Park, 1750 N. Clark St., and Equinox Gold Coast, 900 N. Michigan Ave.

—The Gold Coast Greek Fest will take place June 24-26 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1017 N. LaSalle St. There will be live Greek music and dancing as well as authentic Greek food ( including pastries ). Admission is free. See AnnunciationCathedralChicago.org/greek-fest/ .

—Saved by The Max, which is occupying a vacant restaurant space at 1941 W. North Ave., will remain open through the end of the year, Page Six reported. The pop-up was originally only scheduled to operate through the end of August. —Doug Sohn announced his lineup of Hot Doug's sausages for Dog Dayz of Summer, June 24-25 at Goose Island Barrel Warehouse, 605 N. Sacramento Ave. Some of the varieties will include Spicy Thai Chicken, Veggie Dog, Bacon "BLT," Ribeye Steak and Jamaican Jerk Pork. —The 15th installment of The Local Tourist's AlphaBeer www.AlphaBeer.com will take place Saturday, June 25, 6-9 p.m., and return to A. J. Hudson's Public House, 3801 N. Ashland Ave. AlphaBeer features 26 beers—one for each letter of the alphabet—and many knowledgeable beer industry experts who will give a full lesson on each beer. —On Pride Sunday, June 26, Baker & Nosh, 1303 W. Wilson Ave., will be handing out free coffee. A La Colombe drip coffee cart will be parked in front of the bakery 9-11 a.m. to supply paradegoers with their caffeine fix.

—Frontier, 1072 N. Milwaukee Ave., is kicking off summer with a Louisiana-style crawfish boil on Sunday, June 26, at 3 p.m. Guests will enjoy a traditional Southern boil from Chef Brian Jupiter, a New Orleans native, with all-you-can-eat crawfish, corn and potatoes in addition to live music from Four Star Brass Band and drink specials from Beverage Director Sean Nielsen. —Devon Seafood Grill, 39 E. Chicago Ave., is hosting an exclusive four-course wine dinner showcasing fine pairings from Two Hands Wines on Wed., June 29, at 6 p.m. Some of the culinary offerings will include spinach-stuffed crimini mushrooms, char crust scallops, coriander-crusted duck breast and peanut butter-and-jelly bread pudding. —Square Roots, a craft beer and music experience, returns to Lincoln Square July 8-10 with more than 50 acts on four stages, and 30 regional craft brews paired with Lincoln Square restaurants and local artisans. There are suggested donations of $10 for adults, $5 for seniors/kids and $20 for families; proceeds support both Old Town School of Folk Music and Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber programs.

—The 10th annual Roscoe Village Burger Fest will take place July 9-10. Normally held on Belmont Avenue at Damen Avenue, because of construction this year's fest will be moving to a one-time temporary home at Clybourn Avenue and Diversey Parkway ( 2800-3100 N. —Executive Chef Cardel Reid of The Signature Room, 875 N. Michigan Ave., will team with Bacardi Rum to host a paired rum dinner on Thursday, July 14, 6-9 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy a four-course meal paired with seasonal rum cocktails while taking in the cityscape. Tickets are $85 per person, and include a cocktail reception and a four-course dinner with cocktail pairings. Space is limited; pre-purchase tickets by calling 312-280-0465.

—Food Tank Chicago will take place Wed., Nov. 16, at the Gleacher Center, 450 N.
