Italian restaurant Piccolo Sogno Due, 340 N. Clark St., has closed. However, Chef Tony Priolo will bring back a new concept, Nonnina, at the same address. Nonnina will be under the culinary direction of Chris Macchia. The original restaurantPiccolo Sogno, at 464 N. Halsted St.is still open.
Roti Modern Mediterranean will open a new downtown Chicago location at the MetraMarket in early summer, and it will feature a large outdoor patio space, a selection of beer and wine, and new menu items. Roti operates 21 restaurants, including eight in Chicago, where it is headquartered.
