—BIG Bar, located on the second floor of Hyatt Regency Chicago at 151 E. Wacker Dr., offers a lineup of cocktails inspired by the movies playing during this year's Millennium Park Summer Film Series. The specialty cocktails are available throughout the entirety of the film series in Millennium Park through Aug. 30. Drinks include Nemos' Mule, Ferris' Punch, Souls' Sangria, Greasy Jack and Moonstruck's Martini.

—Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya, 1482 N. Milwaukee Ave., is offering summer happy-hour specials. Specials will be available Sundays through Thursdays at 5-7 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays at 2-5 p.m. and 10 p.m. to closing. Some of the items include pork chashu don, chicken chashu don and pork buns ( $3 each ) as well as drinks like Choya Plum Wine ( $5 by the glass ) and Sapporo ( $4 ). See Kizuki.com .

—Joy District, 112 W. Hubbard St., is hosting "Red White EnJOY," Ja holiday celebration that will take place Sunday, July 3. The party will start at 3 p.m. on the rooftop and will feature a specialty Red White & Blue slushie ( layers of Strawberry Daiquiri, Pina Colada and Blueberry Yum Yum ) for $13, along with Bacardi flavored snow cones. —Chefs Jason Vincent and Ben Lustbader, along with partner and beverage director Josh Perlman, announced the opening of Giant on Friday, July 1, at 3209 W. Armitage Ave. Giant's seasonal menu features an array of dishes from small, composed plates like Jonah crab salad with waffle fries; marinated zucchini with anchovy, lemon and garlic; and carrots with Thai chili and peanut; to larger, sharable options like baby back ribs with barbecue sauce and pickles; and halibut with shell beans, lemon and garlic broth. —4 Star Restaurant Group revealed the name and design details for its 10th Chicago restaurant opening this September in Lake View at 3358 N. Southport Ave. It'll be called Tuco & Blondie, and has been described as "an American spin on Mexican cuisine." —Honey's Hot Chicken has opened in Highland Park at 1791 St. Johns Ave. A grand opening was held June 28 with with Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering, Councilmen Michelle Holleman and Alyssa Knobel, and members of the Highland Park Chamber of Commerce. Besides chicken, the menu also includes items like chicken and Belgian pearl sugar waffles, salads, hot sandwiches, fried shrimp, hand-rolled jalapeno corn fritters and crispy fried grits, among other items. —Osteria Langhe, 2824 W. Armitage Ave., has been acknowledged as one of Wine Enthusiast's 100 Best Wine Restaurants in America of 2016, showcased in the August Restaurant Issue. —Through June 30, certain locals will promote a partnership with Wellness Grub, calling their friends/followers/others to go into Chicago-area Wellness Grub locations and purchase a certain color juice—with 20 percent of sales going toward the winner's LGBT charity. Wellness Grub is at Equinox Lincoln Park, 1750 N. Clark St., and Equinox Gold Coast, 900 N. Michigan Ave.

—Devon Seafood Grill, 39 E. Chicago Ave., is hosting an exclusive four-course wine dinner showcasing fine pairings from Two Hands Wines on Wed., June 29, at 6 p.m. Some of the culinary offerings will include spinach-stuffed crimini mushrooms, char crust scallops, coriander-crusted duck breast and peanut butter-and-jelly bread pudding. —To honor National Fried Chicken Day on July 6, Honey Butter Fried Chicken, 3361 N. Elston Ave., celebrates the day with a limited-time offer ( 11 a.m.-9 p.m. ) of buckets of fried chicken and beer. —Square Roots, described as "a craft beer and music experience," returns to Lincoln Square July 8-10 with more than 50 acts on four stages, and 30 regional craft brews paired with Lincoln Square restaurants and local artisans. —Shaw's Crab House ( in Chicago and Schaumburg ) will be celebrating lobsters this summer at its annual Lobster Festival. —The 10th annual Roscoe Village Burger Fest will take place July 9-10. Normally held on Belmont Avenue at Damen Avenue, because of construction this year's fest will be moving to a one-time temporary home at Clybourn Avenue and Diversey Parkway ( 2800-3100 N. —Executive Chef Cardel Reid of The Signature Room, 875 N. Michigan Ave., will team with Bacardi Rum to host a paired rum dinner on Thursday, July 14, 6-9 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy a four-course meal paired with seasonal rum cocktails while taking in the cityscape. —Food Tank Chicago will take place Wed., Nov. 16, at the Gleacher Center, 450 N.
