—Stan's Donuts & Coffee has launched a Rishi Tea partnership. To celebrate the launch, the donut destination is coining Tuesday, Jan. 29, "Tea Party Tuesday." All Stan's guests will receive a free 12-ounce hot tea with a purchase. The new tea menu includes flavors like the lively Black Limon, health-boosting Matcha Super Green and warming Turmeric Ginger, as well as Jasmine Green, English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Chamomile Medley and Guayusa Cacao. —Winnetka restaurant George Trois, 64 Green Bay Rd., is offering a special truffle menu through February featuring the truffle-foie gras ravioli jus de poulet. The pasta is gluten-free ( made from rice flour ) and the filling is a chicken-truffle mousse with a medallion of seared foie gras in the center. The raviolis are steamed and the jus is a reduction of roasted chicken stock flavored with white wine that has been reduced to a syrup and drizzled in before the truffle is added to finish. —On Saturday, Feb. 2, the Historic Downtown Long Grove Business Association is bringing back the Cocoa Crawl. Up to two dozen merchants team up to create this fun-filled, family-friendly day in the Chicago suburb. Guests who attend the no-admission event at 12-4 p.m. will start at the Visitor's Center, where they'll pick up a map of participating stores and restaurants before stopping by as many spots as they like for complimentary cocoa sampling. —Boleo—the South American-inspired rooftop bar located on the 15th floor of the Kimpton Gray Hotel—has hired David Wang as chef de cuisine. He has worked at such spots as Mercat a la Planxa, Oak + Char, Coppervine and Ronero.

—Veggie Grill will launch the Game Day Party Feast specifically for Super Bowl parties on Sunday, Feb. 3. Offerings will include Mondo Nachos, with corn chips, nacho chickin', queso chorizo sauce, black beans, tomatoes, green onions, mashed avocado and jalapenos; Buffalo Wings; hummus/veggies/flatbread; and VG Beyond Burgers. —Craft-cocktail lounge/music venue/art gallery The Whistler has named Marina Holter as the new head bartender. Holter was most recently behind the bar at The Waydown, the rooftop bar atop the Ace Hotel, and has worked at spots including Dixie and Table, Donkey and Stick. Most recently, she has earned a spot to compete in the acclaimed Speed Rack National competition taking place this upcoming May. Drinks at The Whistler will include Opening Credits.

—River Roast, 315 N. LaSalle St., will be hosting a special happy hour cocktail class at Reid Bar on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 5:30 p.m. featuring whiskey cocktails using the restaurant's house-selected private barrels. River Roast is the first on-premise restaurant/bar to feature a private barrel selection of its whiskey in Chicago. —urbanbelly and Chef Bill Kim will bring back their event, Ramenfest, 12-3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17, at 1400 W. Randolph St. This year's participants include chefs from restaurants such as Oriole, Smyth + The Loyalist, Somerset, Aba, Monteverde, Lula Cafe, Honey Butter Fried Chicken and more.
