Back again, The Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS/Chicago ( DIFFA/Chicago ) Auxiliary Board is gearing up to host its third annual White Party entitled — Under the Midsummer's Sky — on Wednesday, Aug. 23 at Exhibit on Superior residential tower, located at 165 W. Superior St., Chicago. Built by Magellan Development Group and MAC Management, the building offers an ideal backdrop, as it's designed to attract creatives and support the rich arts culture native to Chicago. DIFFA/Chicago's Excellence In Care program grants Chicago-area service agencies to provide assistance, education and outreach to those living with HIV/AIDS.

Promising a jovial evening of design and business professionals dancing in hues of lily-white around the 75' lap pool and 8,400 sq. ft. outdoor garden, "Under the Midsummer's Sky" will truly be a night to remember. A special complement, the building's in-house "Exhibit A-Lister" and talented guitarist/singer Jeremy Gentry will serve as the evening's musical entertainment. The event follows a successful "WHITE OUT" in 2016 and "Light The Night" in 2015, which totaled over $15,000 in funds towards the cause. Additionally, the event program will include a raffle featuring a Source Stash Chair, a sushi package from National, a terrarium from Sprout Home and more.

Host Sponsors for the evening include Exhibit on Superior, MAC Management and Magellan Development group. bKL Architecture, BUILTECH and TitanElectric will serve as Presenting Sponsors. Platinum Sponsors include HBF, Herman Miller and Henricksen. CHIEF, SEIBOLD + BAKER and Sterling Bay will serve as Gold Sponsors.

Lite bites will be provided by Inspired Catering. Allagash Brewing will donate Allagash White beer, Brown-Forman will donate Korbel Rose wine and Maharam will provide the evening's elderflower white cosmo signature cocktail, "Midsummer's Dream." Francis Son Photography will serve as the evening's photographer.

The event is Wednesday, August 23, 2017, beginning with 5 — 6 p.m. venue tours with the bKL Architecture team and 6 — 9 p.m. White Party on Roof Deck at the Exhibit on Superior, 165 West Superior St., Chicago and Howie's 5th Floor Amenity Roof Deck.

Early-bird tickets are $75; Regular-priced tickets are $95 after August 7th. All tickets can be purchased online at the DIFFA/Chicago website.

Social media users are also encouraged to post before, during and after the event using the hashtag:

About DIFFA/Chicago

DIFFA/Chicago ( The Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS ) is a not-for-profit fundraising and grant-making foundation that distributes funds to Chicago area HIV/AIDS service agencies to provide direct services, preventative education and outreach to people who are HIV positive, living with AIDS or at-risk for infection. Founded in 1984, DIFFA has granted more than $40 million to hundreds of community-based organizations nationwide. Seven years ago, in an effort to continue DIFFA's reputation for innovation in fundraising, DIFFA/Chicago created an Auxiliary Board consisting of Chicago's young design and business professionals. Our mission is to expand awareness of the growing effect of HIV/AIDS within the Chicago community to a more extensive audience.
