City to honor Ralphi Rosario on Sept. 14

The city will honor house music DJ/producer Ralphi Rosario Saturday, Sept. 14, when the street sign at Boystown's Halsted and Cornelia intersection becomes "Honorary Ralphi 'The Razz' Rosario Blvd."
Rosario continues to work as a DJ and remixer, and has released several full-length albums. He has remixed tracks by artists including INXS, the Shamen, Jomanda, Culture Beat, Gloria Estefan, Beyonce, Deee-Lite, Pet Shop Boys, Madonna, Kylie Minogue, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna and others.
The dedication ceremony, which is slated to begin at 3 p.m., will feature a mix of Rosario's music as well as champagne celebration. The official sign dedication will happen at 4 p.m. |
