Chuck Hyde remembered

A memorial for former Sidetrack manager Chuck Hyde was held May 21 at Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted St.

Hyde, inducted into the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame ( now the Chicago LGBT Hall of Fame ) in 2001, began work at Sidetrack in July 1982, three months after it opened. He died in South Florida where he had been living and working since August 2016.
