FLEUROTICA, presented in collaboration with the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance, joins the show's Evening in Bloom preview event on St. Patrick's Day, Friday, March 17, with co-chairs Amy Rule and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Proceeds from Evening in Bloom benefit the Alliance, as well as Pilot Light and the Illinois Restaurant Association Education Foundation. Turning 170 in 2017 and marking the occasion with beautiful display gardens, truckloads of plants and expanded "see and do" programs the Chicago Flower & Garden Show is one of the country's top three consumer garden shows and one of its oldest, with roots that date back to 1847 as the Chicago Fruit and Flower Show.
