Todd Solomon

McDermott Will & Emery LLP employee benefits partner Todd Solomon will receive the National LGBT Bar Association's prestigious Allies for Justice Award Friday, Aug. 9.

According to a press release, "the award honors legal professionals who, in their positions of leadership, have supported lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals, and made extraordinary contributions to the broader LGBT Community and inroads for equality under the law."

As a member of McDermott's LGBT Diversity Subcommittee and its Diversity Committee, Solomon is involved in evaluating McDermott's domestic partner benefits policies and working with businesses in Chicago to form strategic alliances in order to advocate for LGBT rights in the workplace.

Solomon will be presented with his award at the Marriott Marquis in San Francisco during the 2013 Allies for Justice Award Reception, held in conjunction with the American Bar Association's Annual Conference. Visit www.lgbtbar.org .
