Chicago, IL, September 25, 2015The National LGBTQ Task Force and the 2016 Creating Change conference host committee have announced that they will be hosting a "National Coming Out Day"celebration on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the University of Illinois in Chicago's Puja Gallery ( 1255 S Halsted St., Chicago, IL, 60607 ).
Every year, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer ( LGBTQ ) people and youth get together to share theirs stories about "coming out"and living their lives genuinely on National Coming Out Day. This event is a lead up to the 28th Creating Change conference set to take place on January 20 24, 2016 at the Hilton Chicago. Creating Change is the nation's largest gathering of LGBTQ advocates attracting more than 4,000 attendees. The fiveday conference includes daylong institutes, a welcome reception, four dynamic plenary sessions, and over 350 skills-building workshops, presentations, and trainings.
