Chicago House brunch and fashion show May 5

Chicago House's Annual Spring Brunch and Fashion Show will take place Sunday, May 5, in the Winter Garden at the Harold Washington Library, 400 S. State St.

Doors will open at 12 p.m.

This year's event, "Rhapsody on the Runway," will pay homage to the iconic rock band Queen and the 1970s era. Guests can expect a floral market with custom hand-tied arrangements, and a runway experience featuring local Chicago boutiques and design studios as well as nationally acclaimed designers.

Emceed by NBC reporter Chris Hush, guests will enjoy a three-course brunch, champagne and signature cocktails, live entertainment, exclusive auction items and more. Of note, a spotlight will be on the organization's Employment program, recognizing Eataly as the 2019 Spirit Award recipient for its partnership with Chicago House.

Chris and Derek Bagley aew event co-chairs for the fourth consecutive year, and the Chris and Derek Bagley Family Foundation is the title sponsor.
