The Jeffrey Pub, 7041 S. Jeffery Blvd, opened its doors to over 35 seniors and veterans on the south side of Chicago for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.
At this special holiday gathering, given by Jamal Junior and his mother Nelly Junior (who also did all the cooking), a good time was had by all. Helping to organize and serve was community activist Richard Wright, his mother Charlene Eure and members of their church, Our Lady of Peace, on 79th and Jeffery Blvd.
The Jeffrey Pub is now accepting donations for its third annual coat and toy drive. For more information please call the Jeffrey Pub at 773-363-8555.
