Chicago Opera Theater ( COT ) has announced its 2008 spring season—and, for many, it's one of the company's most anticipated.
The centerpiece of the 2008 spring season's highlights is the first fully-staged production in the United States of John Adams' A Flowering Tree, with John Adams conducting two performances. The season opens with Mozart's Don Giovanni. Concluding the season is Orlando, a Handel masterpiece not seen on the Chicago stage in over two decades. The spring season will run April 20-June 8, 2008.
Season subscriptions for the 2008 spring season are $90-$345, which include a ticket to all three evenings. COT also offers a 50-percent discounted student rate in most sections. See ChicagoOperaTheater.org aor call 312-704-8414.
