The LGBT-specific Chicago Metropolitan Sports Association held its annual women's social Jan. 26 at Joe's Bar with an estimated 1,100 people. Sam Hamilton organized the event as a benefit for CMSA.
Among those who performed were singer Mindy Bartlett, comedian Judy Fabjance (who performed her one-woman show, "Are you there Judy? It's me, cancer"), singer Daphne Willis, and Amy Kelly & The Bill Ande Band. There was also a date auction with members of the Chicago Force women's football team and the Chicago Women's Rugby Football Club.
