Center on Halsted opens its doors for another By Women For Women ( BWFW ) community event Saturday, June 14.
Hosted by the Women's Action Committee of Center on Halsted, By Women For Women: Spinning through the Decades is bringing in some of the hottest female DJ's in the LGBTQ community for an evening of music and dance.
The event, to take place on the rooftop terrace at Center on Halsted on June 14, 2014, will crown the BWFW Hottest DJ. Fathom DJ, DJ Feen, DJ Raboo, and DJ Sandra Suave will spin hits from the '60s through the '00s and compete for the title. Vote alongside judges Tracy Baim, Lora Branch and Judy Rice to decide the winner.
"We're excited to host another great women's event at Center on Halsted, especially during Pride Month and on the outdoor patio, where the weather is sure to be nice," said Renauda Riddle, a Women's Action Committee Co-Chair. "This year, we're bringing together some great community talent to ensure not only great music, but a great crowd as well."
Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $25 before June 10 or $40 after. To purchase tickets, please visit community.centeronhalsted.org/ByWomenForWomen.Tickets are also available for purchase at the door. Price includes admission, one drink ticket, and hors d'oeuvres.
