Jake Biondi—the author of the Boystown series—will release his new Majesty series Friday, Dec. 13.

The official title of the book is Majesty Book One: Death of the King. Majesty is a period piece that opens with the mysterious murder of the head of the royal Chamberlain family. "The king's murder sends the entire Chamberlain family, as well as their kingdom, into turmoil," Biondi said in a press release. "The king's four sons all start looking at one another with suspicion as they try to restore stability to the kingdom and bring their father's killer to justice." In the meantime, some relationships fall apart, forbidden love flourishes and a plot to overthrow the Chamberlains is unleashed.

Majesty Book One: Death of the King is currently available for pre-order on iTunes, Kindle and Nook; visit MajestyTheSeries.com/order-books.html. The series will be available in paperback, audiobook and e-book formats.
