Former top-ranked professional tennis player and current World TeamTennis co-founder Billie Jean King will speak at The Executives' Club of Chicago's Women's Leadership Breakfast on Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park, 200 N. Columbus Dr.
Registration and networking will take place at 7:15-8 a.m., with the breakfast program at 8-9:15 a.m.
King will discuss how she garnered worldwide recognition and support after being outed publicly in 1981. She will also share how she became a pioneer for the LGBT community and a trailblazer for equal rights. Her discussion is titled, "Overcoming Adversity: Bringing All of Yourself to Everything You Do."
