20 years before Sandra Fluke stood up to protect women's access to health care, Anita Hill stood before the Senate Judiciary Committee to challenge Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas and focus national attention on workplace sexual harassment.

An author and professor of social policy, law, and women's studies at Brandeis University, Anita Hill is known for her groundbreaking work raising awareness nationwide on the issue of sexual harassment. As a result of her efforts, Congress passed a law that allowed sexual harassment victims to seek damage awards as well as back pay and reinstatement.
As counsel to Cohen Milstein, Hill currently advises on class action workplace discrimination cases. Her latest book is Reimagining Equality: Stories of Gender, Race and Finding Home which explores issues of gender and race and how they connect to equality, sexual harassment and the current housing crisis.
