Andersonville Summer Sidewalk Sale takes place Friday, July 24

( Chicago ) The stores of Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood will be lining the sidewalks with great bargains during the annual Andersonville Summer Sidewalk Sale on Friday, July 24, Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26, 2015. Participating merchants will stretch from 5000 to 5800 North Clark Street and include old favorites and neighborhood newcomers; a complete list is below.
Also during the Summer Sidewalk Sale, the Women & Children First Used Book Sale will be held on Saturday, July 25 from 10:00am — 6:00pm and Sunday, July 26 from 11:00am — 5:00pm at 5233 North Clark. The WCF Used Book Sale benefits the Women's Voices Fund, whose goal is to foster discussion of feminist issues and culture, and to nurture children's delight in books.
On Saturday, June 25, there is extra excitement in store at Rad Vintage ( 1511 West Berwyn ), with their annual "$20 Fill a Bag" Sale, and at Foursided Custom Framing Gallery ( 5061 North Clark ), where a pop-up by City Harvest Café will feature organic, cold-pressed juices from their small-batch juicery in Lakeview.
By combining its Swedish roots and small-village charm with some of the city's newest and hippest stores and restaurants, a day in Andersonville is a great summer getaway In 2015, Andersonville was named one of the top 5 shopping destinations in Concierge Preferred's annual Concierge Favorites Awards, as well as being named 7th hottest neighborhood in the country by Redfin.
