Karma Chávez, Ryan Conrad and Yasmin Nair, members of the Against Equality Collective, and others will celebrate the launch of the second Against Equality anthology, Against Equality: Don't Ask to Fight Their Wars!, Saturday, April 21, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at Mess Hall, 6932 N. Glenwood Ave.
Against Equality is an online archive, publishing and arts collective focused on critiquing mainstream gay and lesbian politics.
In the book, the writers put forth the perspective that it is the politics of the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" repeal, not the exclusion itself, that needs to be thoroughly examined.
The event is being promoted as a "brunchluck." See www.AgainstEquality.org .
