ADA 25 Advancing Leadership—the first program in the nation with a vision of people with disabilities leading with power and influence for full participation and equal opportunity in the Chicago region—is now accepting applications for its 2021 Leadership Institute and Members Network.

The Leadership Institute and Members Network offer leaders with disabilities tailored training, access to exclusive events, mentorship, civic leadership connections and networking opportunities rooted in disability rights.

These competitive opportunities are open to energetic, positive disruptors who self-identify as having a disability ( visible, invisible, or acquired ); reside or work in one of the seven Chicago-area counties ( Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, Will, and McHenry ); and have a passion for civic engagement and bringing about systemic change.

Those who apply to the Leadership Institute by Friday, Sept. 25, are guaranteed an interview; the final application deadline is Friday, Oct. 16.

For more information about applying to Advancing Leadership or nominating a potential applicant, visit ADA25chicago.org/apply, or contact Director of Civic Engagement and Marketing Risa Rifkind at 312-994-4215 or rrifkind@ada25advancingleadership.org .
