With June just around the corner, Chicago collaborative A Queer Pride brings together some of the freshest and most exciting LGBTQ artists to celebrate the community. Catch numerous events highlighting the diversity and creativity of Chicago's queer landscape alongside immensely popular special guests throughout like Charli XCX, Mykki Blanco, Alok Vaid Menon, Dorian Electra and more.

Make Pride 2018 more queer, inclusive and intersectional- check out some programming below:

June 1st - 23rd, Every Wednesday - Saturday

A Queer Pride, Deep Eddy and Emporium Present: JUNIPERO DISCO

Venue: Emporium PopUps

Time: 9pm - 2am

In a first of its kind endeavor, A Queer Pride transforms the space into a retro-futuristic immersive experience called Junipero Disco - inspired by time travel, queer love, San Junipero and reimagining gay bathhouse culture. Juniper Disco recenters this nostalgia and romanticization to focus on queer women, femmes and people of color. The popup will be an an extensive installation by Anarchitype Productions of classic fixtures of a bathhouse- lockers, steam room etc, combined with 80s aesthetics of neon, two-tone colored lighting, arcade games and more. In an effort to bring together various queer communities in Chicago, Junipero Disco will host special edition takeovers from 14 different LGBTQ nightlife curators, collectives and promoters, allowing for a rotating cast of some of the best DJs, performers and hosts in the city, including special guests like Charli XCX and Mykki Blanco .

Enter the space through a beautifully painted mural from AndyB and her crew of queer women and femmes.

Additionally, the PopUp will be making donations from drink sales to benefit Transformative Justice Law Project, a Chicago based organization that provides legal services to trans folks, including a free monthly Name Change Mobilization at the Daley Center.

A Queer Pride Presents: 2ND ANNUAL OUT TO CLIMB: PRIDE EDITION

Watch sme of Chicago's wildest drag queens and club kids rock climb to the top of Brooklyn Boulders walls as a charity benefiting Howard Brown Health. The events brings tigether some of Chicago's biggest names like Lucy Stoole, Trannika Rex, Eda Yorulmazoglu , Imp Queen , and more, with DJ [X]P for an unforgettable night of athletics and nightlife, giving a new meaning to "Drag Race".

A QUEER PRIDE & STARDUST (Entering its 10th year of events every Thursday)

Venue: Berlin Nightclub

Time: 10pm - 4am

Stardust is a queer nightlife collective in Chicago has been the resident Thursday night event at Berlin Nightclub for the past 9.5 years, curated by Scott Cramer in collaboration with numerous Chicago creatives to create intersectional and immersive events! It has always focused on diversity and representation of marginalized groups with each of its events giving a platform to communities including queer people of color ( Black Girl Magic , Bad Beti's ), transgender and nonbinary folks ( IT Presents ) and people on the femme spectrum and identity ( Femme's Room , Rosebud ) an more! Stardust has made its mark through various avenues like involving Berlin in the " T-Friendly Bathroom Initiative for the safety of trans and gender non-conforming folks, the IT Presents Guide to Safer and Braver Spaces in Nightlife zine, events like Bad Beti's and Black Girl Magic in various publications, and numerous nightlife awardsmost recently Chicago Reader's "Best Of" for LGBTQ Dance Party 2017 .

A Queer Pride is a new collective of seasoned professionals from Chicago's nightlife landscape, bringing together a queer Pride presentation. A combined effort between Scott Cramer, Abhijeet, JForPayDotCom and Melissa Hespelt, A Queer Pride actively seeks to provide a platform to marginalized and underrepresented members of the LGBTQ community in a political climate that needs these voices to be heard even louder.
