( Chicago, IL, December 16th 2014 ) As part of their year end fundraising efforts, today TransTech Social Enterprise ( TTSE ), announced a partnership with MillerCoors to match all donations up to 10,000 dollars from now through December 31st. TransTech is fiscally sponsored by Allied Media Projects making all donations tax-deductible.
MillerCoors was named by HRC as one of the "Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality" for the ninth consecutive year in 2014. Additionally, MillerCoors was also named The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce's Partner of the Year for their continued efforts in raising awareness for LGBT issues in the workplace and encouraging allied companies throughout the state to grow in their commitments to LGBT issues as well.
The $10,000 matching program will be used to create education and employment opportunities for transgender and gender nonconforming people as well as anyone facing discrimination in the workplace. TransTech's apprenticeship program focuses on graphic design, web-coding and administrative skills.
