Donald Glover has backed suggestions that his Star Wars character is pansexual—despite a reported zero same-sex interactions on screen, according to PinkNews. Fans accused Star Wars producers of queer-baiting after claims that fan favorite character Lando Calrissian is actually pansexual. Glover ( taking over the role that Billy Dee Williams originated ) told SiriusXM, "Yeah… How can you not be pansexual in space? There are so many things to have sex with!"

Non-binary rocker Adore Delano graces the cover of the first-ever Pride issue of the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame-celebrated publication Alternative Press Magazine, a press release noted. Delano joins the ranks of many other rocker greats who landed their first magazine cover with Alternative Press over the past 30 years, including Nine Inch Nails, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, twenty one pilots, Nirvana, Oasis, Radiohead and—one of Delano's biggest influences—Marilyn Manson. Among other things, Delano discusses her ongoing legal battles, the emotional turmoil from losing her dad last year, the dating scene, the impact Trump's immigration crackdown is having on her family and her gripe with RuPaul. Action-movie actor Jason Statham has apologized for allegedly using a homophobic slur during a private conversation, Page Six noted. The actor and producer allegedly repeatedly said "f—king f—s" during a conversation with Steve Casman on the set of his 2015 film Wild Card, according to The Blast. Statham, who is married to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, said he has no recollection of the conversation in question; however, he wanted to be clear that's not how he feels about the LGBTQ community.

Jennifer Aniston has been lined up to become the country's first female—and lesbian—president in new Netflix film First Ladies, Metro noted. The political comedy will see the star play Beverly Nicholson, who heads to the oval office after a groundbreaking U.S. election. Notably, she will be bringing along her own first lady: her wife Kasey Nicholson, played by Tig Notaro. Notaro will be co-writing the script alongside her real-life wife, Stephanie Allynne.

Adam Rippon just won the 26th season of Dancing with the Stars—becoming the first gay person to win the show, LGBTQ Nation noted. This was also the first win for his partner, Jenna Johnson. The short four-week season focused on professional athletes. After three weeks of eliminations, Rippon and Johnson competed against NFL player Josh Norman and Sharna Burgess as well as figure skater Tonya Harding and Sasha Farber.

Pauley Perrette took to Twitter to respond to CBS' statement on her tweets suggesting that she was the victim of "multiple physical assaults" which may have led to her departure from the show NCIS, Deadline noted. "I want to thank my studio and network CBS They have always been so good to me and always had my back," she tweeted. Her response came shortly after CBS released a statement saying, "Pauley Perrette had a terrific run on NCIS and we are all going to miss her. Over a year ago, Pauley came to us with a workplace concern. We took the matter seriously and worked with her to find a resolution. We are committed to a safe work environment on all our shows."

Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae and Sarah Silverman grace the cover of GQ's new comedy issue, each with a few extra arms and legs, mocking Vanity Fair's epic Photoshop fail—but staffers at VF are not seeing the funny side, Page Six noted. The cover parodies the 2018 Hollywood Issue of GQ's fellow Conde Nast publication, Vanity Fair, on which Reese Witherspoon appeared to have three legs and Oprah Winfrey had an extra hand. However, insiders say Vanity Fair execs are furious because GQ apparently didn't give them any advance warning about the spoof.

Monica Raymund, who has played Gabriela Dawson on NBC's Chicago Fire since its 2012 debut, announced May 15 that she will not return to the drama for season seven, US Magazine noted. In the handwritten note posted to Twitter, the actress, 31, wrote: I am so thankful for the journey and especially to all of you for watching, but I have made the decision that it's time for me to move on to the next chapter in life." Jesse Spencer—who plays Dawson's husband, Matt Casey, on the show—admitted he'd like to see his character single.

Directed by Marianne Elliott, Angels in America ( which recently earned 11 Tony nods ) stars Andrew Garfield, Nathan Lane, Lee Pace, Denise Gough, Susan Brown, James McArdle, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Amanda Lawrence and Beth Malone.

The Met Gala is over, but the fallout from a high-level fashion drama over Amal Clooney's glamorous gown lingers, Page Six revealed. Clooney infuriated fashion forces at Vogue and designer Tom Ford's team after his atelier had toiled for weeks to make a custom Met Gala gown for her—and she decided hours before the event not to wear it. Media sources tell us that the famed human-rights attorney decided at the last minute to walk the red carpet in a dramatic "backup" outfit by hot British designer Richard Quinn, a bustier and pants with a billowing floral train. ( Clooney wore the Tom Ford item later that evening. )

Writer-producer Bryan Fuller is accusing 20th Century Fox of "hetero-washing" the story of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in a new trailer and marketing materials for the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, TheWrap noted. A trailer shows actress Lucy Boynton ( playing Mercury's muse, Mary Austin ) staring longingly at star Rami Malek as Mercury, and also leaping into his arms. The footage also features a young man coming on to Malek's Mercury in a recording studio, but it's blink-and-miss.

The movie Deadpool 2 features the big screen's first explicitly queer superhero, according to Pride.com . The superhero Negasonic Teenage Warhead, who was in the first Deadpool movie, now has a girlfriend named Yukio—a chain-wielding mutant. According to INTO, "The scene in question takes place when Deadpool visits the X-Mansion for the first time and meets the couple together, holding hands," critic David Opie wrote. Marvel cut Valkeryie's scene in Thor: Ragnarok that was a nod to her bisexuality, and ignored the same-sex relationship between Okoye and Ayo in the Black Panther comic universe.

From the looks of Riccardo Tisci's Instagram, the designer got pretty cozy with singer Frank Ocean at the Met Gala, according to PerezHilton.com . Givenchy's creative director posted a ton of pics of Ocean including one of the two of them smiling. The most eyebrow-raising pic of the entire bunch, though, is the one Riccardo posted this morning of a bow tie laying on an unmade bed with the caption "Please don't go…….."

Audiences are filing out of the world premiere screening of Kevin Macdonald's Whitney at the Cannes Film Festivalt—and it's a new documentary that sheds new light on iconic singer Whitney Houston's rise-and-fall story, Deadline.com noted. Interviewing Houston's closest family and friends, Macdonald made two new discoveries that appear in the film: one, that the singer had been abused as a child, and, two, that the abuser was a woman, Houston's cousin Dee-Dee Warwick ( who died in 2008 )—the late sister of soul icon Dionne. Macdonald told Deadline he wished he could've spoken with Robyn Crawford, Houston's assistant/best friend with whom she reportedly had an affair.

Billie Lourd ( the daughter of Carrie Fisher and granddaughter of Debbie Reynolds ) has been cast opposite Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein in the high school drama Booksmart, directed by Olivia Wilde in her feature directorial debut, Variety noted. Lourd is also returning for the eighth season of American Horror Story along with cast members Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Kathy Bates, and she recently reprised her role as Lieutenant Connix in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Michael Jackson is getting his own street name in Motown—which first launched him into superstardom, Page Six noted. A section of Randolph in downtown Detroit will be renamed Michael Jackson Avenue during a June 15 ceremony, ahead of Detroit Music Weekend. Four of Jackson's brothers—Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon—are scheduled to perform during the festival; they also will receive a key to the city. The Gary, Indiana, brothers signed in 1968 with Detroit's Motown and had hits that included "I Want You Back" and "ABC."

Kim Kardashian was slammed by fans, including actress Jameela Jamil, for promoting "appetite suppressant" lollipops, Page Six noted. Kardashian, 37, posted the advertisement for Flat Tummy Co., a company she often promotes for their weight-loss teas and shakes. Fans immediately began criticizing the reality star on social media and accused her of promoting eating disorders. "The Good Place" actress Jameela Jamil took to Twitter to slam Kardashian as a "toxic influence on young girls."

TV personality Wendy Williams was asked for her take on Kanye West and his recent string of controversial statements at Vulture Festival, and it seems she's worried about his mental health, according to 247HipHopNews.com . In part, she said, "I will tell you I feel very, very bad for Kanye West. His father is nowhere in the picture, his mom passed away trying to beautify herself to be a stage mom. I'm not going to talk about his wife, his family, or anything like that. But what I will tell you is that he's not well." West's wife, Kim Kardashian, has spoken out against assumptions about her husband's mental health.

The Los Angeles premiere for season two of 13 Reasons Why was canceled in the wake of a deadly shooting at a high school in Santa Fe, Texas, TheWrap noted. A male student went on a shooting spree at Santa Fe High School, killing at least 10 and leaving at least 10 others wounded. One of the storylines in the second season of the Netflix drama involves a thwarted school shooting.

Also, the network announced that midseason returns will mark the final run of iZombie and Jane the Virgin. In addition, this fall we'll see the last episodes of Rachel Bloom's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Courtney Love and daughter Frances Bean Cobain have won a court case that seals the photos of Kurt Cobain's death, NME.com noted. ournalist Richard Lee, who is a long-term believer that Cobain was murdered, sought the pictures under the Washington State's Public Records Act. Lee sued Seattle and its police department in 2014 and is described by the courts as "a conspiracy theorist who believes that Mr. Cobain was murdered."

Detail, the producer behind Beyonce's "Drunk in Love" and several Drake and Nicki Minaj songs, has been accused of raping two singers, according to Vulture. TMZ reported that the two women, Kristina Buch and Peyton Ackley, have filed legal documents claiming that Detail ( real name: Noel Fisher ) subjected them to physical and mental abuse under the pretenses of furthering their music careers. Singer Bebe Rexha has also revealed that Detail attempted to assault her when she was a new artist.

Disney has discussed bringing embattled Pixar boss John Lasseter back to the company in a new role, six months after the head of the studio's animation division took a self-imposed sabbatical following reported complaints of workplace misconduct, TheWrap noted. According to the Wall Street Journal, Disney executives are considering a new role that would give Lasseter less managerial power but full creative influence over the studio's animated projects.
