Marriage Equality video out featuring Jen Foster song

Writer/Director Nicole Conn —known for her lesbian films Claire Of The Moon ( 1992 ), Elena Undone ( 2010 ) and A Perfect Ending ( 2012 ), has directed a music video about marriage equality called SHE4ME.

Marriage Equality USA ( MEUSA ) partnered with Melke Pty Ltd and Fosterchild Records to executive produce SHE4ME.

SHE4ME centers on the production of a high-end music video paired to a song called "She," written and performed by singer-songwriter Jen Foster. The song has been a favorite within the lesbian community for over a decade and is often used in commitment ceremonies. Renowned music producer Eve Nelson scored the piece and produced an incredible fusion of contemporary orchestra and dance to compliment the storyboard created by Director Nicole Conn.

The video was shot in West Hollywood LA through November and December last year and is currently in post-production. A four minute viral video will be cut and released through the SHE4ME website. In addition to the generic video, a series of short PSAs will be cut for national distribution.

Robin Gans Co-Producer of GB2 @ The Abbey and Co-Promoter of Dinah Vegas 2014 says: "The original track was very beautiful in its own right; Eve kept all the splendor and emotion in Jen's voice and then upped the ante with the musical arrangement. It's going to be a favorite @ GB2 and at Dinah Vegas 2014!"

The video centers around the friendship of two young dancers with the video ending in a traditional wedding day. Viewers will be treated to a fun reveal. The video also features a choreographed lyrical dance sequence between two women.

Wedding scenes were filmed at the iconic Andaz West Hollywood, which has recently served as location for actual same-sex weddings. Michael Torsiello and Adrian Pellereau made headlines when they tied-the-knot twice at the hotel, a second soiree to make it official after DOMA and Prop 8 were found unconstitutional by the Supreme Court Justice of the United States. And last month Matthew Breen, Editor in Chief of The Advocate married his partner on the rooftop deck overlooking the Hollywood Hills and the city.

Ricardo Luna, CEO of Luna Gardens Events stated: "The storyline within SHE4ME reads innocent, heartwarming and graceful; Nicole Conn and I felt the look of the wedding needed to mirror those sentiments. With that in mind I brought in roses and accented them with hydrangeas with Orchids, Willows, and Amaranths in warm colors, and draped the room in jewel toned lights. I was really pleased with the outcome."

SHE4ME is slated to premiere on its Youtube channel and website Feb 14 2014. Among other channels, Distributor Wolfe Video will provide free downloads of the PSA on the day it premieres; and Andaz hotels will broadcast the video across digital channels and in all 239 guest rooms at Andaz West Hollywood.
