LGBT inclusive audio storytelling project launches in Chicago

Amy Matheny, Eric Lynch, Fawzia Mirza, Kevin Theis, Rebecca Cox, and Steve Downes, star in an innovative audio storytelling podcast, The American Fathers. Director is Adrianne Cury and writer is Henry Sullivan.
Think Hunger Games meets Homeland set in the year 2032. The American Fathers involves four dynasties, a Lebanese-American journalist, an impassioned college professor, a security contractor, a flamboyant hit-man, a rebel hacker, a megalomaniac, and a smart, idiosyncratic heiress.
A Kickstarter project, this SAG, New Media contract will employ close to 20 local actors. Support this home-grown project by donating at www.kickstarter.com/projects/1634624308/the-american-fathers-podcast . It will only be funded if it reaches its pledge goal by Tuesday, April 14.
Bill Steed of Oak Park's Howling Sow Studio is engineering this orchestra of voices". Everything about The American Fathers is local; the writer, director, engineer, actors, and the setting. The ensemble includes separate narrators as part of the cast of voice actors. |
