Intercontinental hotel flies rainbow flag on Michigan Avenue

The InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile, 505 N. Michigan Ave., celebrates Pride Month this June in Chicago by flying a rainbow flag over Michigan Avenue.

The hotel stated in a news release: "InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile salutes the long history of the LGBT community and supports the freedom of all people to express their sexual and gender identities without oppression."

The flag will be up through June 30.
