Wheaton LGBTQ alumni hosting concert Oct. 7

OneWheaton (event sponsor), a group of LGBTQ alumni of Wheaton College, along with Wheaton College students and faculty, will host a concert Friday, Oct. 7, 7-10 p.m., at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 393 N. Main St., Glen Ellyn.

Grammy-nominated Christian music artist and out lesbian Jennifer Knapp is slated to perform. More than 300 people are expected to attend.

The event is part of OneWheaton's homecoming weekend, which will include Wheaton College's football game Saturday, Oct. 8, at McCully Stadium, 501 College Ave., Wheaton; and an informal alumni dinner.
