Obama remarks at HRC dinner to be webcast live

WASHINGTON — The Human Rights Campaign — the nation's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization — will stream President Barack Obama's remarks at the 15th Annual National Dinner tomorrow night live on its website at www.hrc.org . The HRC 15th Annual National Dinner is Oct. 1 in Washington, D.C.

"We are honored to have President Obama join us to celebrate the victories of this past year — from marriage equality in New York to the repeal of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' - and to look ahead to the fights that remain," said HRC President Joe Solmonese. "The milestones we've achieved over the past two years would never have been possible without the commitment and support of fair-minded Americans across the country."

The President is expected to speak around 7:15pm ET. Viewers can access the stream by going to www.hrc.org . HRC's 15th Annual National Dinner, taking place at the Washington Convention Center, is expected to draw more than 3,000 guests from across the country. President Obama last addressed the audience in 2009. More information is available at www.hrcnationaldinner.org .
