A statement that had Braff coming out of the closet was apparently the result of his old website being hacked. On his Facebook page, Braff later posted, "I'm still straight and in love with my girlfriend. But not too straight; I still love musicals, brunch and Doogie Howser." Braff played gay in the 2000 film The Broken Hearts Club: A Romantic Comedy with Dean Cain, Justin Theroux and Timothy Olyphant.

Fernando Flores, who worked for her part of last year, has alleged that Spears continuously made "unwanted advances" towards him.
