KinseySicks Return to Chicago

America's Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet

Performs April 17, 19

CHICAGO—The Kinsey Sicks are returning to Chicago for two shows after a sold-out run last fall in their first Chicago appearance. America's favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet has wowed audiences and critics coast to coast with their unique style, shtick and song.

The Kinsey Sicks, in their colorful Kennedy-era cocktail dresses and with their witty banter and clever songs described as 'barber shop meets Barbarella' perform Thursday, April 17 and Saturday, April 19, 7:30 p.m. atCircuit, 3641 N. Halsted, tickets $30. Tickets are already selling fast, with Saturday's show 50% sold out.

WindyCity Media Group is bringing the foursome back to Chicago, where one of the group's founders attended the University of Chicago. These aren't your average singers—their superintelligent lyrics, awesome harmonies, and -imaginative parodies will entertain from start to encore.

Favorite tunes include 'Locked Out of The Chapel of Love,' 'Ikea' sung to the tune of 'Maria,' 'Cruise People Uglier Than You,' 'AZT' (a combination of 'The Love You Save' and 'ABC'), and many more.

Among the dazzled critics are Michael Musto of the Village Voice ('Loved it!'), Liz Smith ('Get thyself to 'Dragapella!''), Billboard Magazine ('One of the more uniquely original acts we have encountered'), The New York Times ('The hottest ticket in town'), and Variety ('Inventive ... riotously funny ... sublime').

The Kinsey Sicks – Winnie (former Chicagoan Irwin Keller), Rachel (Ben Schatz), Trixie (Kevin Smith Kirkwood) and Trampolina (Chris Dilley) deserve your undivided attention and will reward you with a night of laughter.

The shows are sponsored by American Airlines, Bud Light and the House of Blues Hotel.
