FROM A PRESS RELEASE

Chicago mayoral candidate Carol Moseley Braun has added to her list of endorsements by receiving the blessings of Planned Parenthood and Personal PAC, according to a press release.

Last week, the National Organization for Women (NOW) Equality PAC and the Chicago NOW PAC endorsed her.

Planned Parenthood of Illinois and Personal PAC both focus on women's reproductive-rights issues.

Braun said, "I am proud to have the support of NOW, Planned Parenthood and Personal PAC. I have always stood for women's rights, and I always will. These endorsements are an example of the inclusiveness of our campaign.

"We face many difficult challenges as a city, but my administration will make it a priority to make City Hall an open and welcome place for every family in every neighborhood. The vision and values of our neighborhoods will be reflected in my administration."
