Check out everything you and your significant other need for an unforgettable night ... and a pleasant tomorrow.

Sinfully good

Chocolate lovers have found their nirvana. The Dark Chocolate Bakery ( www.thedarkchocolatebakery.com ) has an astonishing variety of mini-cakes to tempt the palate. This is something you can give to someone who's been naughty ( in a good way ) or nice.

Wrap it up

I had never seen condoms described as "fashion-forward" ( as if Dolce & Gabbana would come out with a version ) , but after seeing "ooo" boutique's ( www.oooboutique.com ) wares, I do understand the description. It's the innovative package that stimulates conversation—the condoms' package, that is. With lust, passion pack and tryst lines, it's hard to go wrong.

Wine and dandy

ONEHOPE wines ( www.onehope.com ) operates on the following premise: You purchase the wine, a portion of the purchase goes to the ONEHOPE Foundation and said foundation donates 100 percent back to partner non-profits. And different wines are for different causes/charities: Purchases of the 2008 merlot, for example, go to organizations fighting AIDS.

Great scotch!

When it comes to scotch, it doesn't get much better than Glenrothes Single Malt. Among the varieties available is the Glenrothes Vintage 1998 ( $54.99 ) , which a release describes as possessing "tropical fruits with sweet vanilla and hints of cinnamon." Also, the palate "exudes citrus notes with a rich bouquet of golden syrup and lemongrass." Whatever is in there, it tastes divine.

Hot java

Local company Aspire CoffeeWorks ( www.aspirecoffeeworks.com ) has something in common with a few other businesses in our gift guide this year—it gives back, too. One hundred percent of Aspire's proceeds help people in Chicagoland with disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy. Also, all coffees are hand-roasted in the heart of Chicago ( Andersonville ) , are fair-trade, certified organic and delivered fresh to your door. Who could ask for anything more?

Skin game

Sophisticated wellness/care company Arbonne ( www.arbonne.com ) has unveiled products that preserve and enhance you—mind, body and, well, skin. Arbonne is a 30-year-old brand with a Swiss heritage that is built around natural ingredients that are enhanced by science. Items include Arbonne Cosmetics Face, the Pampermint Gift Set for your feet and the RE9 Advanced for Men regimen.
