The political action committee of the Illinois chapter of the National Organization for Women ( NOW ) issued a press release Oct. 30 announcing its endorsements for the Nov. 2 general elections.

The statewide recommendations are as follows:

—Governor: Pat Quinn

—State treasurer: Robin Kelly

—Secretary of state: Jesse White

—State comptroller: David E. Miller

—Illinois attorney general: Lisa Madigan

—State House, 13th District: Greg Harris

—State House, 17th District: Daniel Biss

—State House, 18th District: Robyn Gabel

—State House, 38th District: Al Riley

—State House, 47th District: James F. "Jim" Speta

—State House, 52nd District: Mark H. Beaubien

—State House, 57th District: Elaine Nekritz

—State House, 58th District: Karen May

—State House, 59th District: Carol Sente

—State House, 95th District: Maria Owens

—State House, 103rd District: Naomi Jakobsson

—State Senate, 7th District: Heather Steans

—State Senate, 19th District: M. Maggie Crotty

—DuPage County Board Chair: Carole Cheney
